I'm at the library right now, attempting to complete my geography take home paper. It is so utterly boring that I'm literally dozing in and out of sleep in front of the computer. I've tried going to the washroom and splashing water on my face; I have also tried drinking an insane amount of water but nothing seems to work. So, as you can all tell I've decided to update my xanga.

The weather is insanely beautiful today. I feel like an animal locked inside a cage. People all around me are in shorts, skirts, flip-flops and sunglasses and here I am, staring blankly at the computer screen. I must say, the white pale glow of computers has a very becoming effect on me, wouldn't you agree?

It's really crazy how this term is ending already. It never really hits me until you do all those course evaluation sheets. However, Friday still feels like a lifetime away, especially if you have a crappy assignment that is still untouched.

This summer I have decided to break out my manual camera once again and start taking some pictures. Everytime I past by the case in my room, I would feel so guilty for neglecting it. I haven't taken any pictures for awhile. Digital cameras just doesn't cut it for me....and the fact that I don't even own a digital camera. haha

This summer I am also planning to FINALLY get my class 5 license. Hey, don't judge.

Summer also means summer school again this year. Thankfully it's only till June. If it was any longer I think I would shoot myself. Though the thought of coming to school Monday-Thursday from 7-10pm every week is not very exciting, last year's experience with summer school went pretty well, so I'm going to keep being optimistic.

Wow,

that went by pretty fast. If only paper writing was that easy. I'm really craving for a Tim Horton's chocolate caramel doughnut right now. Have you tried them yet?
Cuz if you haven't, it's definately something worth investing 86 cents into.

ps~Cirque du Soleil is coming in the summer. I want to go see Varakai!

first thing i did when i woke up today
was roll over to my side, turn my alarm off and think to myself,
~how wonderful it would be to come home today after school and take a two hour nap!
Now that i am home, napping seems to be such a waste of time.
Darn, and i was so looking forward to it.

went to my classes ..ate some lunch
then headed off for the bus loop.
Seeing that i was 15mins ahead i was torn with the decision of either taking the 44Downtown bus (that comes every 30mins) or the bigot 99B-Line buses. Decided to stick with 44 because that meant one less bus to switch.
Bus finally comes and by then, they are like a TONN of people at the bus stop.
Went on and grabbed a seat. Bus was overloaded to the max but nevertheless off we went.
The second the bus started going, you could hear bumpy-scratchy noise, as if the bus was leaning too far to the right; meanly scratching the bottom. The driver didn't seem to care and we proceeded onwards. It wasn't until 5 minutes later when the bus suddenly pulled to the side. Driver got out, did a loop around, came back on and announced that the transmission on the bus was broken. -__-; Because we were in that section that was in the middle of nowhere everyone was stranded there.
We all left the bus, stood outside, noticed the big pile of sand from the engine and waited. Finally the bus came and that was that.

I've been having all these bus-problem encounters lately, it's kinda weird. It's not easy being a bus driver, no wonder so many of them are so grouchy.

Too girls on the bus today were wearing the same sweater from Aritzia. Every now and then i could see them eyeing each other haughtily, as if to say, "gosh she is SOO not good enough for that sweater"
i thought it was the funniest thing and i laughed out loud. Must've looked like such a weirdo. That's what you get for being a mainstream teeny-bopper.

Time to head off and do some work. School rocks my socks.
Yup, they definately do.

sitting here in the stupid main library
patiently waiting for my psych exam at 7.
time is slowly crawling by and i'm bored stiff.
stiff..that's right..stiff.

the sunshine is beautiful
and i swear, i can hear it beckoning me to go outside.

...i took a nap at the library
and woke up with a start, thinking that i've overslept
turns out i was asleep for
15minutes.
yes, i know it's sad.

you know what else is sad?
the textbook buybacks at the UBC bookstore
they tried to give me 10 bucks for a book i bought for $90
what a jipp
so i told them i'll see them later
and now i'm lugging around a bag full of textbooks.
Yippee.

yes
it's 5:30
only 1 hour and 30 minutes

i hate waiting.

Reading break have officially started, while the actual task of reading have not.

so what have i been up to?

*Campus Crusade Retreat
..met some wonderful people, had many insightful talks and the best part about it was that it was only $25.
God works in amazing ways, through situations you least expect and through so many different people. I don't know what else to say, except that God is amazing.
I've also become crazily obsessed with the game, Hoopla. Until you've tried it people, you really have no idea.
Even though my sleeping bag was paper thin, it was okay, because those late night whispers made up for everything.

*Valentines day came and went. And now i'm a proud owner of a Minolta manual camera (thanks to Daniel^^). That baby is a masterpiece and just so beautifully crafted. It doesn't feel right when i hold it because it seems like i'm not good enough...yet. So if you see me with my camera, feel free to strike up a pose and i'll be happy to snap a pic for you*
did i say, that i love daniel too?^_~

*my attempts at studying linguistics have been nothing short of the word "abismal". My lack of motivation frustrates me while everything about that course (from the teacher, to the students, to the material) angers me.
Yup, the midterm next week is going to be a blast, i can feel it in my bones already.

*the cat from next door is now practically ours. Bonita waits by the front door and sneaks into our house almost everyday now. What scares me the most is her owner, our neighbor. He's just not the gung-ho-friendly type of neighbor and i really dont' know what he'll do if he finds out that we were secretly "stealing" his cat.
well,
maybe he won't do  a whole lot but still, who knows right? People are psychotic these days.

*i've also decided to try my hand at making pineapple fried rice. Chopping up all those ingredients really made me feel like an Iron Chef. The preparation work was actually very enjoyable, and even somewhat relaxing. I love the feeling of wearing an apron, it makes me feel like i know what i'm doing and also authorative at the same time.
i think the food turned out ok, at least we didn't have to pump anyone's stomachs out afterwards. I always cook too much, so everytime, Daniel has to suffer the consequences of enduring way too much food. Sorry hon.

It's been so long since i've been on xanga..i'm surprised it hasn't shut itself down yet.

What i've realized lately:

-that summer is already 1/4 over! I'm sorry but the thought of my precious summer ending scares me silly.

-the past tense of shut is still shut.

-it's been a month since i've stopped taking piano lessons.

-that i pretty much only spend money on clothes. So that means, no shopping kinda rules out a whole lot of my summer plans.
